Safe Moving of People Train the Trainer

This course provides delegates with accredited qualifications in the following areas and the support they will need to develop your in house train the trainer courses.

Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely 

This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the movement and assistance of people and is intended as a further development qualification. The course includes the reasons for safe manual handling, risk assessments, equipment, applying safe manual handling and moving people safely principles, personal safety, health and dignity issues and personal handling plans.

Level 3 Award in Delivering Training

Delegates will develop an understanding of the dynamics in a classroom, and will review the leaning styles of people and how this affects their development. Delegates will also explore their delivery style and how this impacts upon the training they deliver. this course will ensure they are able to plan and prepare a training session, they will experience delivering parts of a training session and be able to evaluate training sessions.

Assessment method

These qualifications are assessed by multiple-choice examinations and practical assessments and observations of training practices.

How long will it take?

To complete this combination of Highfield Qualifications, learners should expect to undertake 3 days of learning and observations of practice and to undertake additional time developing their knowledge in their own time.
